A quiet corner in the heart of Saigon

There is a small homestay in Phu Nhuan, right in the middle of the city, where your shoulders drop the moment you walk in.

The room guests talk about most

Amalfi is the room people mention most often. A four poster wooden bed, a deep green leather headboard, a cluster of gilt framed paintings on the wall, brass candlesticks and a floor lamp throwing warm light into the corner.

Facing the bed is a projector screen. Beside it, a wooden arched door opens onto the greenery outside. In the evening, switching on the warm lamps changes the whole mood of the room.

A corner for tea

Next to the bed sits a small round table where we always leave a cup of tea and something sweet. Guests tell us it ends up being the spot they use most, more than the bed itself.

Film night, in your room

Pull the screen down and the room becomes a private cinema. Add a cushion, dim the lamps, and there is no reason to go anywhere that evening.

Central Phu Nhuan, easy to get anywhere

ChiMi sits in alley 313 off Nguyen Trong Tuyen, a quiet residential pocket only a few dozen metres from the main road. Tan Son Nhat Airport is about fifteen minutes away, District 1 roughly fifteen to twenty.
